Timber Column Two Sides Baseplate Support
CAD dwg drawing detail for a Timber Column Two Sides Baseplate Support. Very useful detail to use for exterior timber column foundation supports ( square section column used ) to provide good water drainage at the bottom of the timber column. Allows water to escape away from the timber column thus protecting the column.
Double fin plates welded onto the baseplate to support the timber column with anchor bolts only on direction. Baseplate provides minimum moment resistance only on one direction of the column.
Excellent addition for designing timber pergolas.
