The steel ‘ U ‘ shaped casing support plate is connected with full threaded anchor bolts that pass through the concrete column and anchored on the other side with a steel plate. The timber beam is passed inside the pocket sleeve and connected with bolts that pass through the timber beam.

Very useful connection detail for designs with both timber and concrete elements.
