UPN Channel X Bracing Center Connection Detail
This is a CAD dwg drawing with a single and double UPN Channel X Bracing Center Connection Detail. When lateral bracing of steel frames is done with UPN channel profile sections, a connection in the center of the bracing is essential in ensuring continuity of forces through this connection detail.
X-bracing center connection with single UPN200 channel profile and double back-to-back UPN200 channels. Detail can be easily transformed to match any design criteria and sizing.
Connection plate 12mm thick with grade 8.8 bolts.
Connection has to be done on site, therefore no welding is introduced in this detail.
