This CAD dwg drawing illustrates an Elevated Industrial Crane Rail Support Detail. Usually used in industrial hangars where heavy lifting is required. Rail is supported on a wide flange parallel beam ( HEB profile ) spanning the length of each portal bay. The beam is then supported onto a cantilevered beam from the portal frame column.
The detail show the cantilever beam connection detail, bolts and dimensioning, rail spanning support beam and it’s connection detail as well as the actual rail support with hold down plates and bolts.
