Exterior Cantilever Staircase with Shear Wall Center Support
CAD dwg drawing plan view and cross section for an Exterior Cantilever Staircase with Shear Wall Center Support. Landings and individual steps are cantilever supported. Usually staircases like this are used on commercial buildings ( but not always ) as a fire escape and can be either covered or not.
Reinforced Concrete Beams are used for the landings with cantilever support from the shear wall, acting as support for the stairs slab. Each individual step is supported from the shear wall with a hairpin reinforcement.
