This is a typical CAD dwg drawing for a Bubble Voids Slab Cross Section Detail.
Similar to a waffle slab, in order to reduce dead weight load, a slab can be reinforced accordingly using plastic bubble voids ( sphere shaped ). This dramatically reduces the dead weight of the slab where concrete does not contribute to the strength of the slab. Bubble voids remain in the slab after pouring. Void former bubbles and cage modules, top and bottom slab reinforcement, supporting RC beam, clear distances.
